Berry-Licious      Recipe

White Scribbled Underline

INGREDIENTS

– 2 cups mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries) – 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste) – 1 tablespoon lemon juice – 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1/4 cup granola – 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt alternative (optional) – Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Wash the mixed berries thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel. If using strawberries, remove the stems and slice them into halves or quarters, depending on their size.

1

In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed berries, honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss gently to coat the berries evenly with the sweetener and flavorings.

2

Allow the berry mixture to sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes to macerate. This process will help release the natural juices of the berries and enhance their flavor.

3

While the berries are macerating, prepare the granola. You can use store-bought granola or make your own homemade granola if preferred.

4

To assemble the Berry-Licious bowls, divide the macerated berries into serving bowls.

5

Top each bowl of berries with a sprinkle of granola for added crunch and texture.

6

If desired, add a dollop of plain Greek yogurt or dairy-free yogurt alternative on top of the granola.

7

Garnish the bowls with fresh mint leaves for a pop of color and extra freshness.
