USA Softball umpires are rewarded for registering and officiating USA Softball without being assigned to regional or national championships.  This rewards the local umpire who supports the USA Softball program, and can be relied upon for the the local assignments.  There are four levels for the program; the Blue level for those who have been registered for three (3) years, the Bronze level for those registered for five (5) years, the Silver level for those registered for seven (7) years, the Gold level for those registered for at least seven (7) years - and - have umpired specificUSA Softball Championships.  Umpires can reach these levels quicker if they have attended USA Softball National Umpire Schools, or umpired in USA Softball National Championships.  (Bold denotes currenty registered members)

To become eligible for this program, an umpire must be an USA Softball registered umpire in good standing.  The umpire must have umpired at the local level for twenty years;  OR - been an USA Softball registered umpire for at least seven (7) years, and participated in at least three (3) USA Softball National Championships, two (2) of which must have been in the tournaments listed below:
Fast Pitch: 
Men's Major, Women's Major, Men's Master 40-Over
Girls 18U USA Gold, Men's "A" or Women's "A."
Slow Pitch:  
Men's Super, Men's Major, Men's A, Men's Industrial
Men's Major 16-Inch, Armed Forces, or Women's Open

To become eligible for this program, an umpire must be an USA Softball registered umpire in good standing.  The umpire must have umpired at the local level for fifteen years;  OR - been an USA Softball registered umpire for at least seven (7) years, and participated in at least three (3) USA Softball National Championships.

To become eligible for this program, an umpire must be an USA Softball registered for at least five years and be in good standing.  They must have umpired, or served as an Umpire-In-Chief, assistant UIC, or umpire coordinator in at least one local association championship or higher.
